ABOUT

Shellstone is an original Swiss Pop-Folk Band. The repertoire is made of self-written songs, mainly composed by Marcel Ruf and arranged by the whole band. With our melodious ballads, mainly played with acoustic instruments, we want to give a unique touch to our compositions. Shellstone is based in Basel with members originally coming from all parts of Switzerland. The band was founded in 2008, when Marcel Ruf wanted a platform for his more quiet songs in a more acoustic way compared to the loud rockband he also played in at the time. A first CD was published in 2011.
